History of the College

In the year 2020, IMM College of Health science and Technology was established on the principle that healthier people are the wealthier community and in the public we also believed that be a learned person for a better tomorrow. Accordingly, it is a private organization that is charged with the responsibility of developing competent middle level manpower in the health sectors that would set quality health care system within our communities. We believe in building a society where the individuals are well informed about health matters and are encouraged to put into practice such health concepts that will create a high level of physical, mental and social wellbeing of the entire community.

The College has intension to bring programs which drawn in accordance with different Boards and Councils with minimum academic standard for the award of national or professional diploma and certificate courses. Consequently, learning and teaching are noteworthy in this College, and we will therefore continue to endeavor to ensure a College that is student – driven and student – oriented. Great investment is being undertaken in almost all our programs of study to make the College a center of excellence.

Our Philosophy:

The philosophy of the College is to produce a graduate who have comprehensive knowledge of the different aspects of health sciences for the achieving national health and health related goals. These would only be achieve by pursuit and finding of new knowledge through logical research, teaching and development of graduate character and the transmission of knowledge and learning to our community and society. Our graduates will be equipped with necessary requisites for competence, fulfillment and responsible leadership in health care management especially at middle level health sectors.

Our Vision

IMM College of Health Sciences and Technology is a College that enables teachers, parents and students to work co-operatively to empower the trainee for efficient quality learning in the environment that develops respect, understanding, responsibility and professionalism. It also targeted provision of quality health care services in the community.

Our Goals:

The College in an attempt to attain these has the following aims:

To contribute in the achievement of the millennium development goals
To provide a means of training women and girl child within their reach
To trains middle level health care professionals in collaboration with various boards or councils.
To train health care providers who develops competency in technical skills that will promote self-reliance and sustenance among youth.
To provide affordable and qualitative health care services to the community especially women and children.
To empower positive changes within our societies and curtailed negative health behavior through health education and promotion.
To simplify and accept the provision of basic sanitation and adequate supply of portable water within our communities.
Student would be challenged and supported to develop his/her talents and skills to his/her full potential.
Make the training in a way to be self-reliance and contribute in the efficient data collection, collation, analysis, interpretation and disseminations of information according to standard and appropriately.
